The Map

The map is being drawn.

Three research pillars — a seismic pulse, a reversing inner core, a magnetic-oxygen lockstep — have been placed on the table. Five connectors linking them have been identified. An attack round has tested the framework and reduced it to what it actually is: not a theory, but a map of candidate connections at various confidence levels.

When enough ground has been covered to show the map honestly — with its strong lines, its tentative lines, and its blank spaces — it will live here. For now, the work is documented in the journal, where the research and the collaboration that produces it are recorded as they happen.

The confidence scale
Established — quantitative models exist, broadly accepted
Plausible — published evidence, mechanism proposed but not fully quantified
Suggestive — pattern observed, mechanism unclear
Speculative — intellectually interesting, quantitatively unsupported

Every connection on the map, when it arrives, must pass two filters: a physically plausible mechanism and a testable prediction. If both pass, the connection stays. If not, it gets noted and the work moves on.
